​Northwest Billings is a rapidly expanding residential area. It features a number of neighborhood parks as well as two country clubs. The Rims overlook Northwest Billings and are home to Zimmerman Park and Swords Park, popular jogging and hiking spots with a scenic overlook of Billings and the surrounding mountains.

Some highlights include:

Phipps Park: A popular spot for Folf, hiking and jogging. 

​West Park Plaza: A recently renovated outdoor mall in the heart of Northwest Billings with restaurants and retail shops. Soon to feature a brand new organic grocery store and apartments. 

Rose Park: A large park with a swimming pool, wading pool, tennis courts, a playground, basketball courts, volleyball courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, jogging trails and even horseshoe courts. A popular summer destination!

Summerfair: Annual arts and crafts fair with a number of artists specializing in jewelry, clothing and other folk arts. In 2011, Summerfair attracted over 10,000 people.

St. John's Summer Concert Series: Thursday evenings in July and August, it features a wide array of music and food. A popular event for families.

Veterans Park: A large park with a playground, a baseball field, barbecue grills, picnic benches and even an ice skating rink in Winter.
