Downtown Billings

Downtown Billings is just a short, scenic drive away from the Billings Logan International Airport! It is home to two hospitals: the Billings Clinic and St. Vincent. It is also home to the historic district and the Parmly Billings Library which is currently in the middle of constructing a brand new energy efficient building to open in 2013. There are also numerous restaurants and the Downtown has a vibrant nightlife.

Some highlights are:

​Dehler Park: Newly constructed baseball park, home to the Billings Mustangs. It also doubles as an outdoor concert venue.

Pioneer Park: A popular local park centrally located. It has a Folf course, tennis courts, a playground and a wading pool. The park also hosts many local events like Symphony in the Park and Saturday Live.

Magic City Blues: Four-day music festival in the streets of Downtown that has featured acts such as The Counting Crows, George Thorogood and Michael Franti & Spearhead!  

​Alive After 5: Weekly event hosted by the Downtown Billings Association featuring live music, great food and dancing in the streets every Thursday from June until August. 

​Alberta Bair Theater: Home to the Billings Symphony Orchestra. The theater is a popular concert venue and also puts on a number of theatrical and operatic productions.

Farmer's Market: Every Saturday morning from 8:30-12 during the summer, local producers set up booths along the streets and sell local fruits, vegetables and baked goods. The market also features great live music and numerous food vendors.

Yellowstone Art Museum: Open to the public. It is home to a large collection of western art. There are also traveling exhibits and a number of special events throughout the year. 

Art Walk: Downtown businesses act as art galleries four times a year to showcase art from local artists! A popular event among the locals.
